Cassia Essential Oil has a warm, spicy, cinnamon-like aroma that feels grounding and invigorating. In small, well-diluted amounts, it’s sometimes used in scalp and hair care blends for its stimulating feel, as well as in aromatic routines when you want a cozy, warming scent.
-
Aromatic
Diffuse cassia oil using about 2–4 drops per 100 mL of water to create a warm, comforting atmosphere. Because the aroma is strong, it blends well with citrus or woody oils to soften and balance the scent.
-
Topical
Cassia essential oil is very potent and must be heavily diluted before skin or scalp use. For general topical or scalp blends, keep dilution low — up to 0.5–1% (about 3–6 drops per ounce / 30 mL of carrier oil). When used for the scalp, mix well with a carrier oil and massage gently, then wash out as part of a pre-wash routine.
Warning: For external use only. Cassia essential oil is highly concentrated and can be irritating if not properly diluted. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Patch test before first use, especially for scalp application, and discontinue if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
