Cedarwood Essential Oil

Product is as advertised, smells great and is authentically cedar wood. The dropper it comes with works well and the bottle is made of glass.

Climate change has brought a new pest to my area - little golden colored flying cockroaches. They live in the yard, eat vegetation and are attracted to light. My friend is an exterminator, and assured me that they are harmless and won't damage anything in the house. And yet I don't want them! They fly around the lights and land on the TV screen at night. They also congregate in my mailbox and garbage cans. My friend recommended cedarwood oil, and he was right. I put a few drops in the mailbox and garbage cans, and spread some under my screen door where they were getting in. I still got a few that flew in when we opened the door, but otherwise problem solved. I reapplied it about once a week until the first frost.

I spread a few drops on the back of my hand and smelled my hand throughout the day. I am very familiar with cedar (my family land is known for harboring random wild cedars), but I just couldn't place this scent. It did not evoke the smell of freshly cut cedar, similar but not exactly, although it did smell very familiar. I asked a friend to smell the back of my hand and tell me what she smelled. She also said it smelled familiar but didn't know what it was. I told her it was cedar, and she immediately exclaimed that it smelled like a cedar chest and I immediately agreed that is EXACTLY what it smells like! Many of you may not have had a mother or grandmother who had an old passed-down cedar chest so you might not be familiar with this scent. Now you know what a real cedar chest smells like! I ordered this because I make my own underarm deodorant and prefer woodsy scents. This will go in my next batch. I will also use it in a diffuser. I like the smell of cedar. Came securely sealed with band around cap. Cap has good seal. Impressive packaging is perfectly designed for the 4oz bottle and dropper.

Handcraft Blends Cedarwood Essential Oil... Pros: value size bottle, convenient dropper dispenser top included, perfect for blends. Cons: Smells a little "green". Summary: This oil is 100 pure and natural, it is bottled in the USA, and it is ethically sourced from India. There are some subtle differences in the fragrance between this and a smallerpricier bottle I purchased at a natural store. This one smells a little bit more "green", The other one has a bit more complexity, more layers, and is a little more woody with the green. Having said that, this one does smell nice and it is an excellent value. I do a lot of blending of oils and this will be perfect for that

The scent is a woodsy, slightly smokey cedarwood scent as its described. It is not overwhelming or too strong, more on the light side for an earthy scent. Cedarwood is a perfect scent for this time of year. I am using it in my waterless diffuser. I appreciated the suggestions of the other oils that this blends well with as I am always experimenting with mixing oils and that takes out some of the guess work. This was ethically sourced from India and bottle in the USA.

The scent of this cedarwood essential oil smells nice and refreshing in my office. I have it in a diffuser running for a few hours a day. It definitely smells better as a mist from the diffuser than smelling it in the bottle. You also get a nice, big bottle of it!

Love this brand of essential oils! They come in a generous sized 4 ounce bottle, which is made of amber glass to keep light out (an important element to maintaining the potency of the essential oil) The lighter pictured is to reference the size of the bottle. It also comes with a glass dropper and although the glass dropper isn't labeled with measurements, and I couldn't get it filled all the way up when pumping it, it holds at least 10-15 drops per dropper which is plenty for the majority of uses. Cedarwood has a lovely woody, earthly scent and I use it for a variety of purposes from diffusing to cleaning!

I will first say that if youre not too fond of a really strong woody Pine scent that you shouldnt purchase this product. It says that it promotes hair health and thickness so Ive been using it on my mids to end and Ive seen a huge difference. Ive been oiling my hair for quite some time and just inputted cedarwood oil into my hair care routine and I will keep on doing it because my hair feels so Soft. I also mix the scent with lavender oil and it creates a really nice natural musk on your skin that I get a lot of compliments on.

This place works hard to gain your respect. I am coming here first before I go anywhere else. I found the price low and the quality high. For all these reasons I am a satisfied customer.

I bought this oil to make homemade bug repellent and it smells great. The packaging was in perfect condition when it arrived and the quality of the oil is amazing. I will definitely buy this again.

I use this to re energize my cedar blanks and for making y own mosquito repellant. Works great.

Bought this for my dog for flea prevention. Smells great. I use with carrier oil so its not to harsh on dogs fur. Great value for the size of the bottle easy dropper application.

I use the Cedarwood oil for a natural mosquito repellent. It is not my favorite scent compared to lavender or eucalyptus or citronella. But it seems to work with keeping the mosquitoes away. I combined it with lavender oil, witch hazel, and distilled water.
