Nutmeg Essential Oil has a warm, spicy, slightly sweet aroma that brings a refreshing, comforting touch to aromatherapy and blended skin care routines. Its scent works beautifully when diffused to create a cozy, uplifting atmosphere, and when properly diluted it can be part of refreshing body blends.

  1. Aromatic

    Diffuse nutmeg essential oil with about 2–4 drops per 100 mL of water to fill a room with a warm, spicy fragrance. It pairs nicely with citrus or woody essential oils in diffusers, reed diffusers, or DIY room sprays to add depth and warmth to your home’s scent.

  2. Topical

    For topical use, always dilute nutmeg essential oil in a carrier oil. Because nutmeg is moderately potent, keep the dilution gentle — up to 1% (about 6 drops of nutmeg oil per ounce / 30 mL of carrier). This diluted blend can be applied to the body for a refreshing, warming touch when used in massage or daily skin care routines.

Warning: For external use only. Nutmeg essential oil must be diluted before applying to the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Some people may be more sensitive to spicy oils; perform a patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
