How to Use Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil
Diffuser: Add approximately 3–5 drops per 100 mL of water, or follow the instructions supplied with your diffuser. Because lemongrass has a strong aroma, begin with fewer drops and use it in a well-ventilated room.
Aromatic blends: Pair lemongrass with bergamot or lemon for a brighter citrus direction, rosemary or clary sage for an herbal profile, or cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli for deeper contrast. Add it gradually and record the proportions.
Soap and candle projects: Confirm compatibility with the chosen wax, soap base or fragrance formula. Follow the base supplier's usage-rate and temperature instructions and prepare a small test batch before scaling.
Topical Dilution for Body and Massage Oils
Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil must be diluted in jojoba, sweet almond, fractionated coconut or another compatible carrier oil before topical use. The current product directions list a general 1–2% range, approximately 6–12 drops per 30 mL of carrier oil.
Lemongrass oil contains naturally occurring fragrance allergens, including citral, and may irritate or sensitize skin. Cosmetic formulators should measure by weight and follow the applicable supplier or IFRA limit for the intended application. Use the lower end of the permitted range, patch test the finished blend and do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
Lemongrass vs. Lemon Essential Oil
Although both have citrus-like aromas, they come from different plants. Lemongrass essential oil is steam distilled from Cymbopogon flexuosus and has a grassy, earthy character. Lemon essential oil comes from Citrus limon and has a brighter scent associated with fresh lemon peel.

This essential oil smells sooo good! It just makes me feel good when I smell the aroma of this Lemon Grass oil. I highly recommend it it smells lovely and like authentic lemon grass oil. It says its organic certified and its pure and natural. Im from the Caribbean and grew up growing actual Lemon Grass bush and making tea with it and it a staple for morning breakfast when you go shop at the bakery so this brings back memories so excuse me for being a little sentimental and a bit partial to this fragrance. Nevertheless, I suggest you try it for yourself. Oh, and because its natural I added some drops of this oil to cold press coconut oil and few drops of frankincense oil and when Im going to lotion my skin after my shower I add a few drops of the mixture to the lotion and boy oh boy you cant help but be in a great mood
