Description

Handcraft Blends Pine Essential Oil is a 100% pure and natural, steam-distilled oil with a fresh evergreen, woody, and herbal aroma. Made from Pinus sylvestris sourced from Romania, it brings pine-needle character to compatible diffusers, fragrance blends, soaps, candles, and properly diluted body oils. The amber glass bottle includes a built-in dropper for controlled measuring.

Pine Essential Oil with a Fresh Evergreen Aroma

Pine Essential Oil has a crisp, forest-like scent that combines green pine needles, dry wood, herbs, and soft balsamic undertones. This profile is well suited to woodland, seasonal, and outdoor-inspired fragrance projects.

Also known as Scots Pine Essential Oil, Pinus sylvestris can be used alone or in a layered scent blend. Begin with a low drop count and add more after the aroma has dispersed.

Benefits & Features of Pine Essential Oil

  • Evergreen forest scent – Combines pine-needle freshness with woody, herbal, and balsamic notes.
  • Single botanical oil – Made from steam-distilled Pinus sylvestris.
  • Home fragrance use – Suitable for compatible diffusers and measured scent blends.
  • Seasonal versatility – Fits woodland, winter, and forest-inspired aroma combinations.
  • DIY project use – Can be measured into compatible soaps, candles, room fragrances, and cosmetic bases.
  • Controlled dispensing – The built-in dropper helps measure small quantities.

Pine Essential Oil for Diffusers & Home Fragrance

Add Pine Essential Oil to a compatible diffuser according to the device instructions. Start at the lower end of the recommended drop range, allow the evergreen aroma to circulate, and increase only when a stronger pine scent is preferred.

Use it alone for a forest fragrance or combine it with one or two complementary oils. Record each oil and drop count so the blend can be recreated consistently.

Essential Oils to Blend with Pine

Handcraft Blends Pine Essential Oil pairs with bergamot or lemon for citrus contrast, lavender or clary sage for a softer herbal-floral layer, and cypress for a greener woodland direction. Peppermint can add a cooler mint note, while tea tree creates a more distinctly herbal combination.

Prepare a small test blend first. Pine has a recognizable evergreen character, so add it gradually to keep the other notes noticeable in the finished aroma.

Pine Oil for Candles, Soap & DIY Projects

Pine Essential Oil can add a forest-like fragrance to compatible candles, soaps, wax projects, and room-scent formulas. It works particularly well in seasonal and woodland-inspired projects where a recognizable evergreen note is wanted.

Follow the base supplier’s usage-rate and temperature guidance. Essential oils can perform differently in wax, soap, alcohol, and water-based formulas, so prepare a small test batch before scaling.

Diluted Pine Essential Oil for Body & Massage Blends

For topical cosmetic use, dilute Pine Essential Oil in a compatible carrier oil before application. Jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed, or fractionated coconut oil can provide a base for a scented body or massage oil.

Follow an appropriate dilution for the formula, intended user, and application area. Do not apply undiluted Pine Essential Oil directly to the skin. Patch test the finished blend and keep it away from the eyes and sensitive areas.

What Makes Pine Essential Oil Different?

Pine Essential Oil is distinguished by its crisp evergreen and pine-needle aroma. Compared with the drier wood character of cedarwood, pine has a greener, more recognizably forest-like scent with herbal and balsamic undertones. This gives it a separate focus for diffuser blends, winter fragrance projects, woodland candles, and scented soaps.

HOW TO USE

Pine Essential Oil has a fresh, woodsy, evergreen scent with balsamic undertones that evokes the feeling of a forest walk. Its deep, refreshing fragrance works well for aromatherapy and can be included in diluted body or home blends to help create a soothing, invigorating atmosphere.

  1. Aromatic

Diffuse pine essential oil with about 3–5 drops per 100 mL of water to fill your space with a clean, forest-like aroma. Its fresh evergreen scent blends nicely with citrus, herbal, or woody oils in diffusers, reed diffusers, or homemade room sprays to create a refreshing environment.

  2. Refreshing body blends

For topical use, always dilute pine essential oil in a carrier oil. A typical dilution is up to 1–2% — roughly 6–12 drops of pine oil per ounce (30 mL) of carrier. Apply the diluted blend to clean skin for a refreshing, grounding feel during massage or as part of your body care routine.

Warning: For external use only. Pine essential oil must be diluted before applying to the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Perform a patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Fresh smelling scotch pine essential oil full of benefits

We regularly use essential oils but never considered pine until now. Ive always thought of pine for cleaning products but turns out there much more beneficially than that. Pine essential oil has Anti Inflammatory Properties, Antioxidant Properties, Calms Respiratory Ailments, Antimicrobial Activity, can be used for Burn Relief, and probably much more. So far we are using this in the diffuser. I dont think I need to tell you how pine smells. This is actually scotch pine so its not as pungent as I anticipated. This is airy and reminiscent of a forest and offers a fresh, crisp aroma. Really freshens up the feeling of the house. In addition to the diffuser, pine oil blends well with other oils, it can be added for cleaning, also used as a bug repellent, blends for moisturizing, and can be applied for pain relief. Such a versatile oil, I cant believe Im just now starting to use it. Thank you for reading and I hope you find this review and the pictures helpful in making a purchasing decision.

Smells like pine trees...

Pleasant uplifting outdoor type fresh relaxing pine scotch essential oil. The pine scotch essential oil is super extra mild in strength that fills up a two hundred square foot room nicely with twenty drops in an oil diffuser running for about fifteen to twenty minutes with a light fan helping to spread the scent. The essential oil doesn't diffuse and spread like most other essential oils I've tried in a water diffuser. The reason why I added a light fan to help spread the aroma with this oil. Aroma is uplifting which can be great for meditation, relaxing, and staying focused. The one ounce bottle dispenses drops nicely and precise. Blends well with bergamot, cypress, sage, juniper, lemon, peppermint, or lavender, and tea tree oils.

Smelled just like YL

I used to sell YL oils. I can't speak to the purity of this oil. But I can say it smells just like YL. I used this in diy cleaner and my diffusers.
