Vanilla Essential Oil Blend

This is a review of 2 varieties of Handcrafted Blends Essential Oil: Wintergreen and Vanilla WINTERGREEN: This is a one ounce bottle of Wintergreen Essential Oil. As the included photos show, it passes the "white paper test," indicating it is a high quality, pure essential oil. Handcrafted Blends is one of my favorite EO distributors. All of their oils are high quality and pure. Wintergreen is a topmiddle mote. It, of course, has a minty aroma. It blends well with spicy oils like Thyme and Oregano, floral EOs like lavender, geranium, and YlangYlang, citrus oils like lemon and orange, and other minty oils, like peppermint and spearmint. Wintergreen is good for easing congestion, relieving pain, easing headaches, easing stress, and enhancing introspection. This oil comes in an amber glass bottle with an optional eyedropper top. It both blends and diffuses well. I like and recommend this essential oil. VANILLA: This is a one ounce bottle of Vanilla Essential Oil. It comes in an amber glass bottle, with a dropper cap packaged separately. It has a light vanilla scent. The scent is much lighter than the kind of vanilla you use in baking or than vanilla coffee syrup. It is a very fresh scent, and on its own, clears the air without adding any heavy scent. But I think the strength of vanilla oil is in taking the edge off other scents. This oil blends wonderfully with other essential oils. I like the benefits Thyme oil offers, but on its own, it just smells like you've been cooking Sunday Sauce. But blended with vanilla oil, it takes the strong herbal scent and almost makes it fruitier as well as milder. This vanilla oil also blends beautiful with lavender oil, taking that floral soapy scent and turning it into something more delicious smelling. I tested this in my ultrasonic diffuser, and this oil diffused very well, both alone and with other oils. It takes a little while longer to "notice" the scent on its own. In a diffuser, this oil leaves more of a background scent than a "smacks you in the face" scent, which is something I like. Now because this is a pure oil, you must dilute it with a carrier oil (like jojoba, shea, almond, or even grapeseed) before applying it directly to your skin. But you can add a few drops to your lotion safely to give it the light, vanilla scent. But I like blending it with other oils and diffusing it personally. This oil is priced competitively at about 10 an ounce, which is about the price most 1 ounce bottles of essential oil sell for. If you are a fan of light, clean, cozy scents, I recommend you try this vanilla essential oil.

The vanilla smell isn’t overly sweet it has more of a woodsy smell to it. Really like it.

This is good quality vanilla essential oil. The scent is strong but not cloying. It is great in a diffuser. It is gentle on my skin and can be used as part of a scent blend. I also plan to use it to scent bath bombs. The oil comes in a glass bottle with a cap top and a glass dropper included. The bottle comes in a thick cardboard box with two pieces of cardboard dividing the glass bottle from the glass dropper. This is good quality essential oil.

I really enjoyed this product. I mixed it with my normal body oil and use.

Smells amazing

This vanilla oil smells amazing and feels very natural. Ive used it several times in diffusers and blends. Just be careful when applying it on painted wood surfaces I noticed it can lift or damage the paint. Other than that, its excellent quality!

Vanilla Essential Oil smells like the good vanilla from Mexico In the winter I make simmer pots, the same way my grandmother did. The water simmering on the stove adds moisture back into the air which gets dry in winter. Some dried oranges, cloves, allspice berries and cinnamon sticks and a splash of vanilla creates the most wonderful aroma in the winter time. But I hate using my real vanilla extract because its expensive but imitation vanilla doesnt produce the scent Im use too and love so much. This essential oil worked so well! My house has smelled amazing all week! And it really smelled like I had used real baking vanilla instead of essential oil.

I absolutely love this vanilla essential oil! I mainly use it in my humidifier, and the scent that fills the room is incrediblewarm, sweet, and natural without being overpowering. It instantly makes the space feel cozy and relaxing, especially in the evenings. The quality is excellent. You can tell its pure and undiluted because just a few drops go a long way. Unlike some cheaper oils Ive tried that smell artificial, this one has a genuine vanilla aroma that lasts for hours. I also appreciate that it comes in a sturdy amber glass bottle with a built-in dropper, so its easy to control the amount and avoid waste. Another thing I like is how well it blends with other oils. Ive tried mixing it with sandalwood and clary sage, and the combination smells just like a spa. Even on its own, though, its absolutely wonderfulcalming and uplifting at the same time. Overall, this has quickly become one of my favorite oils to use. Whether in a diffuser, humidifier, or even for DIY lotions, its versatile, high-quality, and worth every penny. If youre looking for a pure vanilla oil that smells amazing, this one is a winner!

This is a lovely product. It arrived in perfect condition, the box wrapped in cellophane. Its freshly made vanilla essence, with a manufacturing date of June 30th, 2025, and expiry two years away (June 2027). And it smells divine.

Vanilla is one of my absolute favorite scents, along with lavender and lemongrass. Sometimes I like to put vanilla essence (for baking) on my wrist just to smell it. I never considered getting a vanilla essential oil. The scent of this is MUCH stronger and lasts a lot longer too. I actually used too much when I first got the bottle because I was expecting it to be much weaker! So this bottle will go a long way. The scent is amazing, it's classic vanilla, it's got that sweet floral scent to it that I love. The box came with an optional eyedropper top, which I prefer. I like that this has high standards. Certified cruelty free, includes a safety seal on the box, and has a lot number and expiration date. It makes me trust the quality more. The price is great too, especially for an essential oil.

This is my favorite brand of essential oils. I keep the lavender stocked at all times, and the vanilla one is sooooo good. For reference I have very strong allergies to perfumes and cant tolerate them at all. Its worth the money, and the bottles are huge!

Smells like sweet soft vanilla. Best thing is, it doesn't smell like artificial vanilla and it's not overpowering. Lingers for hours on my skin. Everyone loves it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
